So it was a big day for movies. As we lose City of Ashes we have gained... a new Harry Potter Movie?The movie will centre around another of JK Rowling's series, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", funded by Warner Bros. and adapted by the author herself. It will be JK Rowling's first screenplay(s) but judging by the success of her books, she shouldn't have a problem.
The book comes from the Harry Potter world and will follow Newt Scamander, fictitious writer of the Fantastic Beasts text books. It will be set 70 years before the original Harry Potter films but Rowling has been certain to announce that it will not be a sequel/prequel to the original franchise.
Fans seem to be happy, but are they right to resurrect this record breaking franchise or should they have let sleeping dogs lie?
