New Series: Marvel's Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D

Channel 4 Episode 1 Synopsis: Just after the Battle of New York, the existence of superheroes and aliens has become public knowledge and the world is trying to get to grips with this new reality. Phil Coulson is back in action and his attention has been drawn to a secretive group called The Rising Tide.
In order to find out more about this unseen, unknown enemy, he gives his team their first assignment together. They must try to track down an ordinary man who has gained extraordinary powers - the use of which could have devastating consequences. 

So on Friday 27th September 2013 Agent Coulson will return to the lives of UK residents on Channel 4 in his full glory. People in America, I believe you get it on Tuesday.

This week Channel 4 is doing a kind of countdown for the pilot episode and has released interviews, episode lists and more in an attempt to promote this series.

Personally I am sceptical. As a big Marvel comic fan, I would hate for them to ruin the franchise that has generated so much success due to its awesomeness. Then again it was co-created by Joss Whedon, who can never seem to fail, and brings back Coulson as a regular. On top of all that Cobie Smulders is guest starring as Agent Maria Hill!

It seems only time will tell with this new series.
